A bumper system combines a large cosmetic fascia with hidden energy-management and attachment parts. The fascia needs low-temperature ductility, paint or molded-color compatibility, and stable gap-and-flush; the supports need stiffness and repeatable attachment geometry without turning a cosmetic impact into brittle fracture.
